SCOTUS Overturns Indiana Supreme Court - Police Must Get a Warrant To Access Your Phone

SCOTUS issued an order today overturning the Indiana Supreme Court in the conviction of my client Marcus Zanders. Certiorari was granted.

The United States Supreme Court vacated the Indiana Supreme Court’s decision as violative of the 4th Amendment of the United States Constitution and remanded the case. Police must now get a warrant before accessing your cell phone location data. Now we return to the Indiana Supreme Court to argue another day.
